My name is José Carlos Molestina, a heavy water athlete, entrepreneur, and ocean explorer. The ocean has shaped who I am. I grew up drawn to heavy water — the kind that tests your limits and reminds you how small you really are. Over the years, that pull turned into a way of life: chasing giant waves, learning from the sea’s power, and finding peace in its chaos.
I’ve built my life around exploration — not just of places, but of what’s possible when you face fear head-on. Whether it’s towing into big waves, building start-ups or guiding others through challenging conditions, I believe growth happens at the edge of comfort.
My dream is to travel the world with my friends and teammates, chasing the biggest waves and the purest moments we can discover in the ocean.
